Factory reset options are very common these days. Buy a computer and there’s probably a recovery partition that can be used to restore things to the way they were when you first bought it. Google has introduced a similar feature to its Chrome browser that can be used to quickly restore the original settings.
This is a quick and easy way to wipe out unwanted settings that have been put in place without the need to manually work through each of the available options to reset them one by one. Click the Settings button to the upper right of the program window and select Settings from the menu that appears.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Show advanced settings link.
Scroll down to the bottom of the list of option and click the Reset browser settings button.
In the pop up that appears, click the Reset button.
In an instant, you’ll be furnished with a fresh, clean version of Chrome ready for you to start from scratch with.
