Give A Target to Yourself & My To Do List

Today I have made some strong decision about Blogging. In order to achieve what I want I have to push my self to eternity. A step towards this is I have started giving targets to myself like a task given to you at work place. In case if I am not able to finish up that task I am going to give a penalty to myself.

I haven’t thought of what kind of penalty I will give to myself which will kick me so that next time I will try hard to finish up .If you have any suggestion then please post under comment section. Here is My To Do List

1) Creating New Theme

I have decide to create my own theme, I have basic layout in my mind actually it going to be replica of one theme currently used by one of popular blog.

I am assigning 2-3 week of time for this task. So by the end of April month you will see this blog on my own created theme

2) A post about my blog site statistics

I have seen on many blogs A post about site traffic statistics at end of every month. When ever I read those kind of post i feel like why am not able to make my blog to that level. Some time I do get inspire after reading those posts. Apart from this its going to be like my monthly daily and point where I can analyze my blog to make it more visitor friendly.

I am assigning last 2-3 days of month end.

3) Setting Rate of Post/Per day

I want to be regular at post with rate of post increasing day by day. With current work load I am hardly finding any time for writing at least on post per day.i want to stop giving no time excuse to myself and planning to sleep little less to keep up with Post/Per day rate. For the month of April I have kept a target of minimum 15 post so Rate = 0.5 Post/Per Day

List of things which I have to Learn

PHP - I have some knowledge of PHP scripting but want to take this knowledge from novice to Expert level
MySQL - I am a Oracle DBA in my IT professional field and have worked on MySQL too. I Want to improve MySQL knowledge
CSS - I am totally new with CSS since I haven’t ever developed a single web site or web page so this is going to be more time consuming But its worth of learning as I can seen its advantages.
English Vocabulary & Writing Style - Ok I accept that my English is pathetic with Zero Vocabulary. When ever I think of writing about any thing I just miss out words , I hardly find myself making up a good sentences or good post. I want to improve my writing skill. This will help me in writing Quality of good post with rich language style.
