Latest buzz about Google is Google’s new favicon icon image, reactions of users are mixed. Some of them have appreciated Google’s New Favicon, whereas some are finding difficult to adjust with this new favicon. Here is a way to reverting back to old google favicon image.
In order to Revert back to old Google favicon you need to install this Greasemonkey UserScript on your Firefox browser, once installed you will see old Google favicon in Firefox tab.
Make sure that you have Greasemonkey Firefox Extension installed before trying to install this script.
Even I am finding it difficult, I keep multiple tabs open in Firefox and favicon image is the only fastest way to identify websites, this new Google favicon is still not set in my mind becase of this I am finding myself lost in Firefox tabs. But this Greasemonkey Script will give some relief mean while I get used to of Google’s new favicon image.
Please keep in mind that this solution will only work for firefox & safari browser.
