Win Stupid was telling me that my video drivers are incapable of aero, and that I should get newer ones. So I (stupid #2) wasted a whole day finding different versions for my card and installing them, just for nothing. Since I'm an IT guy, I was inches from burning the darn notebook. I ran the performance scoring and aero turned on like a charm. Thanks again. That was crazy. Thanks guys.
