GIFs can be a lot of fun, and they are a gateway for attractive avatars and even display pictures. However, making a good GIF can be a problem, you don’t find the right software and even if you do, it usually comes with a price tag. If you use some online free software it’s either not so good or you have trouble figuring out how to use it. GiftedMotion is the solution for all these problems and is a great little tool that is excellent for making good GIF images.
You just need to download the small java based application and run it with Java. You might have trouble opening it as it might open up with WinZip or WinRAR but you need to make sure it opens with the “Java(TM) Platform SE binary”. So, download the Java Platform before using this application.
It’s a very simple application and looking at it you might be reminded of the old Windows. All you have to do is click on the load files button, select the files you want (you can select multiple files at once) and they will be added to the sequence editor on the left. Just arrange the pictures in the sequence you want, and set in the frame settings (you will mainly need to adjust the time). A higher ms value will lead to a slower GIF animation, while a lower ms value will make the images move faster. You can play around with the settings until you get the desired effect.
After you are done, just click on the red record button to save the animation in a GIF format. That’s all there is to and your GIF animation is ready! There were no bugs found while using this tool. Feel free to comment!
