Google PageRank Update December 2008

Google PageRank (popularly known as PR) is a visual parameter to identify authority of website. Google updates Pagerank of Google Toolbar after every 4 month. Although importance of Google Pagerank is reduced over period of time still many webmaster aims to get higher Pagerank.
Google has updated Pagerank in September 2008 and I was hoping that google will start this Pagerank update after 20-25 December and it looks google has actually started Pagerank update from today. I have seen many blogs and websites with updated Pagerank.
Well all the blogs which I have seen got lowered PR which made me to think another Google nightmare of mass blog penalty but I think that’s not the case. Since this is just started we will see Pagerank fluctuations till 1st week of January 2009.
Well guess what Blogsdna got best gift for year 2008 from Google. Blogsdna is now with Pagerank 6. I had never thought Blogsdna will every get PR 6 since I know how much difficult is to get Pagerank 5 and above and even more difficult is to maintain that level of Pagerank.
Please keep in mind that Actual pagerank of website changes daily and this is just toolbar Pagerank update.

I got PR4 hooray!
In 2007 when my site was just 1-page underconstruction, it got PR3. don’t know why
then I opened my blog on New Year 08. A few months later, I got PR4, then 3 on the 2nd update of the year
and finally it back to 4. I’m happy :D New year 09 is my 2nd blogiversary

I had noticed a pagerank change today. One of my sites http://www.my-algarve.com went from PR2 to PR3, but one of its subdomains http://www.faro-airport-car-hire.my-algarve.com stayed at 2 although this site has far more traffic.
PR6 is huge. Congrats for this leap.My blog has moved from PR3 to PR4.

I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.

On the eve of April fools day Google updated the toolbar page rank again on 1st April 2009. This time they filtered more back links. Previously i have around 70 now i have less back links for my site http://www.cybex.in. However site rank well on all top keywords. It seems google backlinks scheme updated too. It still loves article links as i did for my site. I implemented news section and rss feeds on the site which rocks well and may be the reason of ranking my all keywords.

But now when I check it on some PR checker site it shows 0
