Gmail Treats Technorati Media Engage Network Emails as Spam Mails
ADVERTISEMENTS
Technorati is one of biggest blog authority tracking as well as blog search engine. Technorati Blog ranking seems to be most accurate then any other website ranking services like Alexa, Comcast etc although Technorati is only based on number backlink for last six months. Recently Technorati launched its beta Technorati Media – Engage network.
Technorati Media is ad network which lets the advertiser and publishers buy/sell ads. The ads can be text based, Pho-Text based or square Images. Considering quality of Technorati I was quite sure that Technorati Ad network will be good so I immediately applied for Technorati Media Engage Network.
To my Surprise I didn’t received sign-up email from Technorati Engage. I thought I will receive confirmation email once blogsdna is approved for Technorati Media Engage Network but some how I completely forget about Technorati Engage after that.
I have set auto Gmail Spam mark as read so I never ever check my spam emails but today while going thru my Gmail emails, I accidentally landed to my spam mails and to my surprise I saw Technorati Engage Emails was lying in my spam mails. I was socked to see Gmail marking Technorati Emails as Spam mails.
As per my understanding Gmail spam filter is getting triggered because of domain “adengage.com” used to send emails to all Technorati Engage Publishers. This could be happening with Technorati Media Advertiser.

So if you have registered for Technorati Media Engage Network and still waiting for Sign-up/Confirmation email then do check your Gmail Spam emails.
Tip: Add all email address used by Technorati Media Engage Network to send emails in your contact list

Hi, i registered yesterday, and within short time, just after I posted their ad code, ads started showing also.. I guess they are just targeted ads, but they never said anything about confirmation mail or anything like that anywhere…
Also the old technorati account was used to login to techorati ad engage too. A special sign up was needed for ads alone?
