Finally today iPhone Dev-Team has announced that they have officially unlocked the 2.11.07 baseband on the iPhone 3G which has been named as “Yellows0nw“. Dev-Team is planning to release Yellowsn0w iPhone 3G Baseband 2.11.07 unlock utility on New Year’s Eve. This is going to be best gift for iPhone 3G users on New Year’s Eve.

Yellows0nw iPhone 3G baseband 2.110.7 unlock tool will have similar user friendly interface like QuickPWN 2.2 and BootNeuter. It will be only available to iPhone 3G that have 2.11.07 baseband or earlier. In order to use Yellowsn0w to Unlock iPhone 3G you need to have jailbroken 3G iPhone.

Yellowsn0w (“yellowsnow” the codename of iPhone 3G unlock software) will be available for all in Cydia. Since it will be installed via Cydia, it does require any PC or Mac Machine
