[How To] Root Samsung Galaxy 5 (GT-I5500/I5503)

The Samsung Galaxy 5 is a smarter version of the Samsung Corby. The smartphone comes with a simple design, dedicated keys for calls while packing in Android Eclair 2.1 instead of the Samsung Bada OS. While most of you might be alarmed to see it sporting the Android Eclair 2.1, in some markets it has shipped with the Froyo 2.2 with the Samsung TouchWiz User Interface.

For now, we bring you one of the simplest way to root your Samsung Galaxy 5. You don’t need to browse around and search the how to guides on the internet. Just follow the ‘How-To’ below in order to root your Samsung Galaxy 5.

Universal Androot

1. Download and Install Universal Androot

2. After installation, Open the App and click on install button
(Remember to check Install from 3rd party providers in the Settings>Applications?Unknown Sources)

3. Voila, you are done!

    You post about ‘HOW TO ROOT GALAXY 5 (GT-I5503)…
    Can you teach me how I can bet my android back because I upgrade my android 2.1 to 2.2. After I change it, I feel dislike with this froyo because all of my applications cant run correctly on this android. Please tell me how to change it back like the 1st time I buy this phone because I feel more suitable with the original android 2.1 eclair for samsung GT-I5503 and Im from Malaysia….

    And yeah… it didnt work -.- it says failed, i tried with soft root and without… but still it didnt work and i have checked install 3d party….
