India users, to change Gmnail ID you need to perform Factory reset. Also currently settings are available for Airtel and Vodaphone only.. Do not change over to any other cellular operator… Queries are welcome at ani2meet@gmail.com

I have the same problem as navi and I did named the file update only since is a zip file I left it that way can anyone please help me it will be apreciate it …..thanks ….

rename the file “update” not “update.zip”, will not update that as “update.zip”.

will it lock the g1 again? i am using g1 in India so it has to remain unlocked.

also if anyone can answer, how can i change my gmail id to use core g1 features? i just can’t do it now… somewhere i found hard reset can give meoption to change gmail id, but i doubt if that will lock it again?
