Recently WordPress has organized one contest to encourage designers to develop set of new icons for WordPress 2.7 admin panel/ Dashboard named as Project Icon. The announcement of contest winner is here. Ben Dunkle from New York has won The Project Icon Contest. Response for Project Icon was incredible from both contestant as well as WordPress Community voters.

Icons developed by Ben Dunkle will be soon incorporated to WordPress 2.7 RC1 releases.
