
WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 was released on first week of November and followed by Beta 2 in second week of November. Today WordPress 2.7 beta 3 got released fixing over 160+ bugs.

You can use this feature to upgrade your wordpress 2.7 Beta 1 to WordPress Beta 3.
Please keep in mind WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 Upgrade feature is buggy and you have to manually upgrade to WordPress 2.7 Beta 2 or Beta 3.

1. Numerous style improvements and refinements.
2. All admin notices now go under the page title.
3. PHP Notice fixes.
4. Dashboard widget options now properly save.
5. Menu fixes.
6. Canonical feed URL fixes.
7. Walker fixes.
8. Plugin installer updates.
9. Switch position of “Save Draft” and “Preview” buttons in publish module.
11. File upload support for MS Office 2007+ file formats.
12. Media upload buttons won’t show if the user doesn’t have the upload capability.
13. Canonical redirects only do yes-www or no-www redirection for domains.
14. Shift-click checkbox range selection improvement.
15. Add New User page now separate.
16. Tag suggest only suggests tags (not other taxonomy terms).
17. QuickPress shows “Submit for Review” if user cannot publish.
18. Private posts/pages, and password-protected posts/pages are rolled into new “Visibility” section of publish module.
