Google SOAP Web Search API

We all love google whatever it is Google search, Gmail, Google doc, Googlebot etc. all services are free for use. Along with this API for each service for developer is also made available so that programmer, developer can use this API and build their own application or customize to suite their need.

API trend is not new for google. Google Web API was made available in 2005 for using Google Search. Easy way to use this API was PHP SOAP library implementation.

What is Google Web API ?
Google Web API is i.e Google SOAP Search API way to communicate with Google Search for retrieving Data of submitted query. You can process returned result from google search thru Google Web API and produce more meaning full result. To use Google Web API you require to have your own license key.

This license key had restriction of 1000 Search Query per day and you have to accept Google’s Term’s and Condition before using it.

But Google has stopped giving this Google SOAP Search API on 6th December, 2006.its no longer available for any one except those users who has registered and got SOAP search API before 6th December and I am one of those lucky user.

I had created Google SOAP Search API on May 6, 2005. I did use that key in that year but then I just forgot about it. One day I just show a SEO service which was asking for Google SOAP Search API key and I started looking for that key, it took 2 month for me to get back key. Just because I didn’t deleted that API key mail from my mail box :)

I just can’t explain how many advantages you can have with Google SOAP Search API key. People are literally selling that SOAP key on ebay.
