    hi all from the mother of all novices once you download the update its in rar format do you have to extract it then put it on sd card or do you put it on as it is?

    My g1 already had RC 30 when I purchased it.

    i got stuck on 2. Rename it the downloaded file from signed-kila-ota-115247-prereq.TC4-RC19+RC28.zip to update.zip, and place it in the root of your Micro SD card.

    Tried to update but it failed on the verify. Unfortunatly I cannnot copy it to paste it in here. Any1 else had the problem?

    same prob as tony.. how do you dl it to the root of your sd card?

    to Mike. dl the updates on ur pc, rename it if necessary and copy it on sd root which is plugged on the pc with an sd adapter.
