Folder shortcut on Windows desktop can be very handy when you need to access particular folder frequently however when you use Windows Explorer then you have to follow full path to access that folder but there is work around to get one click access to folders & directories of your choice in Windows File Explorer.
You can create virtual drive of your folders & directories which can be accessed like your regular drive via my computer. Here is nifty tool Virtual Driver which lets you to map directories and folder as drive and bind it to Windows File Explorer.
Virtual Driver adds “Map Virtual Drive” option to right click context menu of folder with which you can instantly mount folders as virtual drive. It also has an option to create permanent or temporary virtual drive.
