Google has been consistently working on Google Doc to make it more convenient, easy to use with feature rich interface. Once step towards enhancing user experience, Google spreadsheet got redesigned.

The new design of Google Spreadsheet is more or less like old word processor and presentation app.

Google Doc Team Say’s,

We were hoping to accomplish three things with it: make it faster, make it more consistent with our siblings (documents and presentations), and give us more room to add features without clutter.
