DeskPins is a small freeware program sized at merely 100KB. The software is compatible with Windows versions 98 / 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista / 7.

DeskPins makes it easy to keep any program “Always on Top.” After the installation of DeskPins you can open it from its Start menu entry. It opens as a System Tray application. You bring the desired window in view and then left click on its System Tray icon; this converts the form of your mouse pointer from an arrow to a pin.

You then left click the window in view. This simple action pins the window to the desktop i.e. keeps it always on top. A new icon is added to your top right window buttons. Clicking on this icon unpins the window.
