the bypassing wga, vista ultimate extras, even ripping off other peoples projects including the name like windows updates downloader

autpoatcher already does this stuff and legally!!!!

Most files come from microsoft servers and the ones that do not i.e. 7zip come from 7zip servers and VUT lets the user know about it and see where all downloads are coming from. When i first created VUT i didn’t even know AutoPatcher existed, i wanted to do something new. I made this program for myself but decided to share it… If you don’t like it then don’t use it, simple as. VUT can do a lot more than AutoPatcher, i know AP downloads updates for more Operating Systems but i decided just to do Vista. When i first thought about VUT, i never knew AP existed so i cannot be copying it.

Try the latest alpha, the addon maker for silent installers has been completely improved, there is an ISO Maker and ISO Burner.. amongst some other improvements.

That’s why you ripped off all the hard work other developers did, like on http://www.windowsupdatesdownloader.com/ instead of creating something unique, that’d be too hard.

I’ve created lot’s of software, like… my own web browser, tweaking tools, Application Blocker, security tools all for PERSONAL USE and was NOT released to the whole world cos it was all just for ME….

Vista Update Toolkit was the same thing, i try to make my own programs. Then i thought i would make my own vista update downloader with integration, converters, basically everything I need.

Then a friend suggested to put it on the Internet so thought give id give it a go and this is were we are today.

I just wanted a long term project and i think this one will last a while, this is more of a learning experience for me than trying to steal anyone’s ideas or rip anyone off (not that im new to programming). When i get the chance to make something “unique”…. i will, but you have to start from somewhere, since putting it on the internet and receiving some ideas from users, i have learn’t more… There’s always someone who hates the software the creator makes, but hey.. its life, i don’t care as long as im learning something.

So… im not trying to rip anyone off or steal ideas, this is mostly for learning experiences and just to see if i can do it, i know some of it isn’t exactly “new” or “unique” but how else do we learn? I learn by actually doing things, everyone is different, some people learn by reading, listening or whatever. My point is… When i started VUT is was more of a “hmmm, i wonder if i can make one”.

So please stop posting offensive posts saying im trying to rip off, steal or whatever… because that is not my intention and sorry if you got that idea, just pretend this program doesn’t exist if you hate it that much. As i said above im just trying to learn more so then i can create something more “unique”.

I am puzzled at 1st place when you guys are taking side of MS, who has ripped many codes and designs from other OS and Applications.
